Terms of Service
UPDATED JUL 2026 · 8 MIN READ
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Pure Voyage’s website, guest app, and short-term rental services (“Services”). By booking a stay, creating a Passport, or using the Services you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
Pure Voyage Inc. operates furnished short-term rentals and the technology used to book, access, and manage stays. Pure Voyage Inc. is registered in Virginia and the District of Columbia. “You” means the person booking or occupying a property.
2. Eligibility & account
You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for activity under your Passport, including keeping your credentials secure.
3. Bookings & payment
Prices, taxes, and fees are shown before you confirm. By booking you authorize the disclosed charges, including any refundable damage hold or security-deposit-waiver fee. Third-party channel bookings are also subject to that channel’s terms.
- Rent, cleaning fee, and applicable occupancy taxes
- Optional add-ons (early check-in, parking, pet fee)
- Damage protection or a refundable hold, where applicable
4. Cancellations & refunds
The cancellation policy shown on your reservation controls. Where a stay is cancelled by us for reasons within our control, we will offer a comparable rebooking or a full refund of amounts paid.
5. House rules & occupancy
Each property has a maximum occupancy and house rules incorporated into your Occupant Agreement. No parties, events, smoking, or commercial use unless expressly permitted. We may end a stay for material violations without refund.
6. Assumption of risk & liability
Amenities such as pools, gyms, grills, and hot tubs are used at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from your stay is limited to the total amount you paid for that stay, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
7. Governing law & disputes
Except where local law provides otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the U.S. state in which the booked property is located; Pure Voyage Inc. is registered in Virginia and the District of Columbia. You and Pure Voyage agree to resolve disputes through binding individual arbitration and to waive participation in class actions, except where such waiver is unenforceable or you opt out within 30 days of first accepting these Terms.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here and, where required, notified to you. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
Your data
Privacy Policy
UPDATED JUL 2026 · 7 MIN READ
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Pure Voyage collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to the website, the guest app, and identity verification performed at check-in.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide and information generated as you use the Services.
- Identity & contact: name, email, phone, and, where a listing requires it, government ID and a selfie for identity matching
- Reservation & payment: dates, property, amounts, and tokenized payment details held by our processor
- Usage & device: app interactions, IP address, and diagnostic logs
- Communications: messages you exchange with our team or automated support
Why we use it
We process personal data to deliver and secure the Services.
- Confirm your identity and grant property access
- Process payments and prevent fraud
- Meet short-term-rental registration, tax, and safety obligations
- Provide support before, during, and after your stay
Identity & biometric data
When a listing requires verification, ID images and facial-comparison data are processed by our verification provider solely to confirm you are the person who booked. Biometric templates are deleted promptly after a match is completed and are never sold or used for advertising. Where required, we obtain your explicit consent before this processing.
How we share
We share data only as needed to run the Services: with payment processors, booking channels, identity-verification and smart-lock/building-access providers, and with authorities when legally required. We do not sell your personal information.
Retention
We keep reservation and legal records for as long as required by law and legitimate business need, then delete or anonymize them. Verification media is minimized and deleted shortly after its purpose is fulfilled.
Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to certain processing. Residents covered by the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA have additional rights. To exercise them, use the contact form; we will verify your request before acting.
International transfers & security
We use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers and industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, so we also ask you to protect your account.
Children’s privacy
The Services are intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; if you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date, and where required we will notify you.

Short-Term Occupancy Agreement
UPDATED PER STAY · 5 MIN READ
This is the agreement each guest electronically signs at check-in. It licenses occupancy of a specific property for specific dates and binds every occupant on the reservation. The signed copy is stored as a PDF on your reservation record.
§1 License to occupy — not a tenancy
This Agreement grants a revocable license to occupy the property for your reservation dates only. It does not create a lease, tenancy, or any residency rights under the laws of the jurisdiction where the property is located, and it ends automatically at checkout.
§2 Occupants & responsibility
Occupancy may not exceed the stated maximum. The signer is responsible for every occupant and visitor admitted to the property and for their compliance with this Agreement and the House Rules.
§3 Care of the property & damage
Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property or its contents beyond normal wear. Report problems promptly in the app. Reasonable charges for damage, missing items, or extraordinary cleaning may be applied to your payment method or deposit, with documentation.
§4 Conduct & house rules
No parties, events, smoking, or commercial use. Observe quiet hours and all building rules, and use the trash chute daily. Serious or repeated violations may result in immediate termination of the stay without refund.
§5 Access & security
Do not share your entry code or access credentials with anyone outside your party. Access events are logged for your security. Lock the door whenever you leave.
§6 Incorporation & electronic signature
This Agreement incorporates the Pure Voyage Terms of Service and Privacy Policy by reference. By signing you adopt an electronic signature under the E-SIGN Act on behalf of all occupants, and confirm you have authority to bind them.
